The Wairoa Star is an independently owned, operated and paid for community newspaper published on a Tuesday and Thursday morning.
The paper is compiled in Wairoa and printed at the Gisborne Herald.
We are members of the NZCNA, NPA and NBA and placed third in the 2004 Community Newspapers Association Best All Round Independent Newspaper - circulation under 10,000.
